Football teams had cheerleaders, and some radio stations had their own version of them. WFIL had the Boss Chicks. Was there a better way to promote the station then presenting a bevy of gorgeous young women wearing big beautiful smiles and hot pants? It came as no surprise, the idea was a huge success.
